Apple fingerprint technology, PRIVACY AT RISK
It is a concern rasied by a senior senator as he belives that this finger print recognition technology introduced by apple in iPhone 5s is a seriuos substantial privacy question.
Chairman of the influential senate judiciary subcommittee on privacy, technology and law ,Senator Al Franken, has written to Tim Cook, Apple boss, explaining the
possible security risks. He said "What if hacker steel someone's finger prints, this could impresonate you for the rest of your life"
Apple has not yet replied to the letter but Mr. Frank is really serious about lots of questions. Like he is desperate to know:
This finger print data will stored locally on the same mobile phone chip in encrypted form, are their any chances for this data to get stolen and later can be used by
hacker after converting them into digital or visual form.
Is their any diagnostic information about this Touch ID system which will be transmitted to back to apple or any other third party.
What are the security measures taken by apple to keep this finger print data safe and secure.
Apple is adviced to answer the questions with in the month of receiving this letter
Mean while it is also remoured that hackers are trying to crack apple's this touch Id technology.
There are now even rewards for hackers who ever could possibly hack into iPhone5s finger print technology. By an IO Capital, a venture capital company is offering a reward of 10,000 to the first person who can breakinto iPhone 5s repeatedly and can collect this finger print data
