HANDS FREE DRIVING ON ITS WAY BY GM MOTORS

READY TO DRIVE A CAR WHERE YOU WILL NOT BE USING HANDS.

GM motors is really working hard to put a new amazing car on road. Jeremy Salinger is in charge of research and development services in GM motors
You would surely get surprised when you'll see a car without a driver or a car where driver is sitting with a newspaper in his hands while car is being driven automatically.  That will be Cadillac on the road, this time the technology is on the testing at roads which includes real world drivers. The automaker are expecting to have this technology by 2020
Super cruise will allow the driver hands-free driving when it determines it as safe said by John Capp who is GM director of Global Active Safety Electronics and Innovations." Before putting this super cruise control technology in the production cycle we certainly needs a strong and vigorous testing phase to finalize the product.

General Motors is working hard with different technologies in the market which are really amazing like cruise control, Collision avoidance, driver awareness monitoring Gps location tracking and lane-departure warnings. GM believes that these systems are sophisticated enough that we can integrate these in real world testing.
As these technologies can completely control the acceleration, brake, staring and destination tracking in daily driving routines.
These all active safety features are now combines by GM engineers in coordinated system where it is going through vigorous testing.

Jeremy Salinger, the program's research and development manager, said that we are continuously working to improve super cruise technology. These includes radar, ultrasonic sensors, camera that are used to control the distance and driving speed in between he vehicles.

This technology will certainly be very useful for assessing not only the way the system handling the cars in real world but to understand the traffic situation as well.
